You know, these days it takes forever to get interviewed but it's not like they deny your case. If you don't have your kids birth certificate or something, but what they'll do is they'll give you a piece of paper and they'll say, you need to come back and you need to present that document. So it will just delay you getting the green card, but it won't result in a denial.
