How Early Can I Enter the US On a TN Visa?

I have heard that one has to cross the border within 10 days of the start date on the letter. Is that correct? 

I believe that you have the employer letter has to be within 30 days. Correct me if I'm wrong, Denise or Carl, but that's what we've been we've been making sure the employer letter was good for 30 days. Yes, Jennifer absolutely.

I think there's a requirement on the Canadian side that if they're going to give you a TN, you have to start work in the United States in the next 10 days. Yeah, correct.

From a practical perspective, you want to make sure that the letters dated as current as possible just to avoid any issues with officers that are gonna say well. Let's say it's on a Saturday that they want to cross and the office is closed, they can't reach the employer just to make it simple. Make sure that the letters dated as close as possible to the date when they're entering the United States.
