Do You Have to Speak English and Take Exam to Get a Green Card
Tanya Freedman, CEO Connetics USA Nurses Recruitment Agency: Is it possible to start the process without taking the English exam? At what point do I need it?
Chris Musillo, Immigration Lawyer: So yes, you only need the NCLEX to file for the green card, you will need the English exam passed, and then submitted to CGFNS or Josef Silny. Normally, we suggest about three or four months before your expected visa appointment date, it takes those organizations around three or four months to issue in CGFNS in instance, the visa screen and the health care worker certificate for JSA.
And you will need to bring not just that you've passed English fluency exam, but that you have the full VisaScreen, or healthcare workers certificate at the time of your visa appointment. But to answer your question, yes, if you have your NCLEX pass, you should get your green card filed.
